About Special Kids, Inc. (ASK), formerly the Indiana Parent Information Network, Inc. (IPIN)
ASK provides information about laws, services and other resources available to parents and families of children with special needs as well as to the professionals who work to meet the needs of these families. ASK also provides a vehicle for communication and a network to facilitate the sharing of information among parents and professionals in local communities and throughout the State of Indiana.

First Steps Family & Social Services Administration, Division of Family & Children, Bureau of Child Development
First Steps is Indiana's Early Intervention System for infants, toddlers and their families. This organization ensures that all Indiana families with infants and toddlers who are experiencing developmental delays or disabilities have access to early intervention services close to home when they need them.

Indiana Protection and Advocacy Services (IPAS)
IPAS purposes to protect and promote the rights of individuals with disabilities through empowerment and advocacy. Services may be requested through Intake Advocacy Specialists, who are listed on the IPAS web site by locality on the Contact IPAS page or by calling the general information phone number listed below.

The Indiana Council of Community Mental Health Centers (ICCMHC)
This trade association advocates for the needs and interests of community-based mental health care. Each of their member agencies provides a full continuum of behavioral health managed care services. In order to carry out its mission of advocacy and provision of supportive services to its member centers, the Council has structured a number of special interest committees and task groups such as: Addictions Services, Child and Adolescent Services, Community Support Services, Emergency/Inpatient Services, Older Adult Services, Public Relations/Marketing, Quality Improvement Resources, Support Staff, and Supportive Employment.

Indiana Institute on Disability and Community
Formerly known as the Institute for the Study of Developmental Disabilities (ISDD), this organization works with communities "to welcome, value, and support the meaningful participation of people of all ages and abilities through research, education, and service."
